Em um pa\u00eds apaixonado por futebol, a expectativa por mais uma Copa do Mundo mobiliza multid\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas enquanto muitos se preparam para torcer, em Palmas (TO), um grupo de homens tem encontrado no esporte algo ainda maior: amizade, sa\u00fade, prop\u00f3sito, apoio m\u00fatuo e esperan\u00e7a. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 frente dessa iniciativa est\u00e1 Reginaldo Barreto Sales, de 81 anos. Influenciado pelo pai, que organizava times nas fazendas, come\u00e7ou a jogar ainda crian\u00e7a. O talento chamou aten\u00e7\u00e3o cedo. Aos 17 anos, ingressou no <a href=\"https:\/\/futpearquivo.blogspot.com\/p\/leao-xiii.html\">Le\u00e3o XIII<\/a>, equipe profissional de Catende - PE, onde realizou o sonho de jogar na equipe profissional da cidade, sendo titular do sub-20 e convidado no profissional. \"Acredito que Deus usou o futebol para me livrar de muitas coisas ruins que poderiam ter acontecido na minha juventude naquele per\u00edodo. Ali, Reginaldo precisou recome\u00e7ar do zero. O futebol continuou sendo sua grande paix\u00e3o. Os s\u00e1bados a tarde e domingos eram dedicados a jogar em times amadores como Am\u00e9rica do Sul de S\u00e3o Caetano. \"Naquela \u00e9poca, o futebol era minha religi\u00e3o\", confessa Reginaldo. Como ele (o obreiro b\u00edblico) me chamava para fazer alguma coisa justamente no dia do futebol?\", relembra. Mesmo relutante, ele aceitou o convite. Hoje acredita que o Esp\u00edrito Santo estava conduzindo aquele momento decisivo de sua vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ao longo daquele dia, ouvindo testemunhos e observando como o evangelho transformava vidas, algo mudou em seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o.\"Entendi que existia um prop\u00f3sito muito maior para a minha vida. No final da manh\u00e3, perguntei ao Gilberto Rebello se tamb\u00e9m poderia fazer aquilo quando fosse batizado. Ele respondeu que n\u00e3o apenas podia, mas deveria\", a partir daquele momento, ele tomou a decis\u00e3o de se batizar na Igreja Adventista do S\u00e9timo Dia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pouco tempo depois, pendurou as chuteiras, se batizou e passou a dedicar a vida \u00e0 miss\u00e3o. Realizando estudos b\u00edblicos de casa em casa, ajudando na funda\u00e7\u00e3o de igrejas, atuando na lideran\u00e7a de igrejas, dedicou d\u00e9cadas ao evangelismo. \"A maneira mais segura de aprender \u00e9 ensinando. Mas agora com um prop\u00f3sito diferente. Depois de anos longe dos gramados, reuniu alguns amigos para jogar bola. O que come\u00e7ou como uma simples pelada se transformou no Projeto Masters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoje, quase 50 participantes em sua maioria com mais de 40 anos, fazem parte da iniciativa. Todas as segundas e quintas antes dos jogos, h\u00e1 um momento reservado para ora\u00e7\u00e3o, pedidos especiais e palavras de incentivo. Somente depois a bola rola. O grupo tamb\u00e9m ajuda os participantes que enfrentam dificuldades financeiras, problemas de sa\u00fade ou crises familiares. Aos 81 anos, continua entrando em campo e \u00e9 exemplo de vitalidade e sa\u00fade. Para David Wellington, 41 anos, conhecido como \u00cdndio,  Reginaldo \u00e9 uma inspira\u00e7\u00e3o constante. \"Ele nos ensina sobre sa\u00fade, sobre car\u00e1ter e sobre como cuidar melhor da vida. Para Francisco Soares, 46 anos, conhecido como Chico, o diferencial do Masters n\u00e3o est\u00e1 na bola. \"O que me fez continuar no grupo foi o respeito, o ambiente diferenciado e as amizades que constru\u00ed aqui.\" explica. Quando sua esposa precisou passar por uma cirurgia delicada, Chico encontrou apoio. \"Pensei que iria perd\u00ea-la. Mas o grupo orou, acompanhou e depois at\u00e9 ajudou com medicamentos. Ali percebi que eles n\u00e3o se importam apenas com o futebol. Com os conselhos, o exemplo e o ambiente do grupo, deixei a bebida e me tornei uma pessoa mais calma. Hoje tenho buscado mais a Deus.\" contou Chico que integra a equipe de organiza\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Wellington, destaca outro diferencial. \"Aqui a gente coloca Deus antes da bola\", se referindo aos momentos de ora\u00e7\u00e3o, que de acordo com ele \u00e9 a melhor coisa do Projeto. Ele, acostumado a disputar campeonatos, afirma que o ambiente do Masters \u00e9 \u00fanico. \"N\u00e3o tem confus\u00e3o, n\u00e3o tem palavr\u00e3o, n\u00e3o tem agressividade.
