Em janeiro de 1942, a primeira Escola Sabatina passou a funcionar em uma resid\u00eancia, dando in\u00edcio ao grupo que mais tarde se tornaria a igreja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com o r\u00e1pido crescimento da congrega\u00e7\u00e3o, um terreno na Avenida General Em\u00edlio L\u00facio Esteves foi adquirido no in\u00edcio da d\u00e9cada de 1950, onde seria erguido o templo. A pedra fundamental foi lan\u00e7ada nesse per\u00edodo e, em 7 de novembro de 1954, a igreja foi oficialmente inaugurada, consolidando anos de dedica\u00e7\u00e3o e f\u00e9 da comunidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comemora\u00e7\u00e3o do anivers\u00e1rio<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A programa\u00e7\u00e3o come\u00e7ou com a Escola Sabatina em formato de painel, reunindo representantes de v\u00e1rias gera\u00e7\u00f5es para debater os principais temas do guia de estudos. Em um segundo bloco, o culto especial contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do cantor Weslley Fonseca, da Gravadora Novo Tempo, que p\u00f4de interpretar can\u00e7\u00f5es conhecidas do p\u00fablico e alguns lan\u00e7amentos de seu \u00faltimo trabalho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Da mesma maneira em que j\u00e1 ocorreu em outras celebra\u00e7\u00f5es de anivers\u00e1rio anteriores, o nome do orador s\u00f3 passa a ser conhecido do p\u00fablico apenas no dia do culto - uma tradi\u00e7\u00e3o chamada localmente de \"pregador surpresa\". Neste ano, o pastor Marcos J\u00fanior, que j\u00e1 foi o l\u00edder espiritual local do templo no passado, al\u00e9m de presidente da Igreja Adventista na regi\u00e3o central do Rio Grande do Sul, conduziu a mensagem, convocando a congrega\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 consagra\u00e7\u00e3o de vida a Deus. M\u00fasica, comunh\u00e3o e celebra\u00e7\u00e3o refor\u00e7aram a alegria da congrega\u00e7\u00e3o pelo hist\u00f3rico de f\u00e9 e servi\u00e7o da igreja. Com 71 anos de hist\u00f3ria, a Igreja Adventista da Floresta fortalece sua miss\u00e3o espiritual, promovendo encontros que aproximam gera\u00e7\u00f5es na viv\u00eancia da f\u00e9
