Por meio do projeto&nbsp;Um Ano em Miss\u00e3o (OYIM), 17 pessoas foram batizadas durante a primeira semana de evangelismo liderada por jovens volunt\u00e1rios adventistas. O esfor\u00e7o resultou em 17 batismos e marcou um novo cap\u00edtulo para a cidade, que at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o n\u00e3o contava com presen\u00e7a adventista.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>O pastor\u00a0Reinan, l\u00edder do distrito de S\u00e3o Fid\u00e9lis (que abrange Aperib\u00e9), destacou o impacto imediato do projeto \u201cAs pessoas se apaixonaram pelos jovens e pelo carinho com que eles se dedicaram. Estamos sonhando agora com uma igreja presente, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 como estrutura, mas como comunidade. J\u00e1 temos membros e muitos outros est\u00e3o em processo de decis\u00e3o.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m do envolvimento evangel\u00edstico, os jovens t\u00eam realizado visitas, intera\u00e7\u00f5es comunit\u00e1rias e a\u00e7\u00f5es de apoio espiritual, fortalecendo v\u00ednculos e plantando sementes de f\u00e9. O pastor\u00a0Leandro Gon\u00e7alves, respons\u00e1vel pela equipe do OYIM em Aperib\u00e9, refor\u00e7ou que o impacto \u00e9 rec\u00edproco: \u201cChegamos com medo, tudo era novo. Mas fomos recebidos com carinho e hoje a cidade inteira sabe quem s\u00e3o os \u2018meninos do OYIM\u2019. natural de Maracana\u00fa (CE). Ela compartilhou que decidiu dedicar um ano da sua vida ao projeto para mostrar \u00e0s pessoas o Jesus que a salvou: \u201cFui salva v\u00e1rias vezes por Ele, e quero que outros saibam que tamb\u00e9m podem ser salvos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ela contou que um dos momentos mais marcantes foi durante sua primeira sa\u00edda mission\u00e1ria: \u201cSenti o Esp\u00edrito Santo me tocando para orar por uma senhora. Ela me disse que precisava muito daquela ora\u00e7\u00e3o. Aquilo me confirmou o prop\u00f3sito de estar aqui.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre sua viv\u00eancia, Raabe afirma que a miss\u00e3o lhe ensinou a import\u00e2ncia do servi\u00e7o como express\u00e3o de amor e f\u00e9. \u201cUm jovem s\u00f3 se sente realmente envolvido na igreja quando est\u00e1 dentro da miss\u00e3o. Isso tem se tornado cada vez mais claro para mim.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com a aceita\u00e7\u00e3o positiva da comunidade, o projeto segue com a expectativa de fundar uma igreja adventista na cidade em breve. Perguntas como\u00a0\u201cQuando vai inaugurar a igreja?\u201d\u00a0t\u00eam sido frequentes entre os moradores. A mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o liderada pela juventude mostra que a miss\u00e3o n\u00e3o tem idade, mas sim disposi\u00e7\u00e3o. Como resume Raabe: \u201cDiga \u2018sim\u2019 para Deus. Vale muito a pena.
