Estudou na Universidade Adventista de S\u00e3o Paulo, onde, em 2006, se graduou como Bacharel em Teologia.<br>Ele come\u00e7ou seu minist\u00e9rio pastoral em Pato Branco, Paran\u00e1, Brasil, onde permaneceu por dois anos. Em seguida, foi transferido para Tel\u00eamaco Borba, no mesmo estado, onde trabalhou tamb\u00e9m como pastor distrital por quatro anos. Suas pr\u00f3ximas cidades foram Campo Largo, onde trabalhou por um ano, e Curitiba, onde serviu por mais um ano. Foi chamado ent\u00e3o para Tatu\u00ed, interior de S\u00e3o Paulo, ainda na fun\u00e7\u00e3o de distrital por tr\u00eas anos. No ano de 2018, foi chamado para ser diretor do Minist\u00e9rio Jovem da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Mato-Grossense. Posteriormente, foi chamado para ser diretor do Minist\u00e9rio Jovem da Uni\u00e3o Centro-Oeste Brasileira onde permaneceu at\u00e9 novembro de 2022. Assume agora como secret\u00e1rio executivo, ministerial e departamental de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o na Miss\u00e3o do Tocantins.<br>O pastor Richard Ogalha \u00e9 casado com D\u00e9bora Guimar\u00e3es Ogalha.
