A congrega\u00e7\u00e3o existe h\u00e1 27 anos e come\u00e7ou com o trabalho pioneiro de estudos b\u00edblicos do casal Obadias e Tereza. Os primeiros batismos aconteceram em abril de 1991 e o pequeno grupo come\u00e7ou a reunir na casa da irm\u00e3 Maria do Bem. Sentindo a necessidade de um espa\u00e7o amplo, um terreno foi doado pelo irm\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Batista e em 1996 o templo foi inaugurado.
