Os esfor\u00e7os mission\u00e1rios resultaram em um batismo hist\u00f3rico de mais de 110 mil pessoas. A iniciativa \u00e9 parte de um programa chamado Total Member Involvement (Envolvimento Total dos Membros, ou ETM).<\/p>\n<p>Neste ano, as atividades do ETM foram concentradas no Leste Europeu.\u00a0Tudo come\u00e7ou na Rom\u00eania. Embora o pa\u00eds viva um momento pol\u00edtico delicado, com grandes manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es contra a corrup\u00e7\u00e3o, milhares de pessoas compareceram \u00e0s reuni\u00f5es evangel\u00edsticas.\u00a0Apesar do medo de que a instabilidade atrapalhasse as reuni\u00f5es, houve um efeito contr\u00e1rio; as manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es acabaram ajudando. \u201cComo a popula\u00e7\u00e3o estava concentrada em um lugar, os membros da Igreja na Rom\u00eania foram ao local das manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es e distribu\u00edram convites, em massa, convidando as pessoas para as reuni\u00f5es evangel\u00edsticas em uma Igreja Adventista pr\u00f3xima \u00e0 sua casa.
