[ASN] O pastor que palestrava no DVD era enf\u00e1tico: \"O homem deve ser o l\u00edder espiritual da casa\", apelava. O ex-centroavante Soares ficou pensativo sobre a mensagem. Ele e a fam\u00edlia estavam estudando a B\u00edblia dedicadamente nos \u00faltimos meses. O ex-jogador Carlos Soares, a esposa, Ana Maria, as filhas Rafaela e Raissa, e Adalzira (a cunhada de Soares) foram batizados no dia 5 de novembro em Fernand\u00f3polis, interior paulista.<\/p>\n<p>Soares, que tem parentes adventistas, garante que sempre ficou impressionado ao ver que a Igreja segue exatamente o que est\u00e1 na B\u00edblia. Aposentado como jogador, atualmente trabalha com um jornal de esportes da cidade e regi\u00e3o. Nascido em 16 de abril de 1963 em Morro Agudo, SP, iniciou nos infantis do Orl\u00e2ndia F.C.. Aos 19 anos j\u00e1 foi convocado para jogar pela Sele\u00e7\u00e3o Paulista de Juniores.<\/p>\n<p>Depois disso n\u00e3o parou mais. Jogou no Palmeiras, Crici\u00fama, Santos, Bahia, Juventus, Comercial (MS), Mogi Mirim, Tigre de Santa Catarina, Taquaritinga e outros. Tamb\u00e9m atuou em times de outros pa\u00edses, como o Quilmes, da Argentina; o Ettifac Club, da Ar\u00e1bia Saudita; e o Cria Gaziantep, da Turquia.
